At Cashmerefine, every product begins with the selection of the finest natural fibers, each sourced from the regions where it reaches its highest quality. Every selection reflects our unique know-how and the solid network of relationships built over decades of activity.

Raw fibers are carefully processed to remove coarser strands, leaving only the finest, softest fibers. This refinement ensures that the material is clean, uniform, and perfectly prepared for high-quality dyeing and spinning, ready to become luxurious and long-lasting yarns and then garments. In cashmere, this process is called dehairing and still today it remains mostly a manual process.
Cashmerefine has decades of expertise in cashmere dehairing, both in Italy and China. For sanitary reasons, cashmere must now be dehaired in its country of origin, so this process is currently performed exclusively in China.

Dyeing is not a necessary step, as cashmere and other fibers can also be used in their natural colors, where they often express their best quality. Dyeing can occur at different stages of the process: top dyeing (after dehairing, before spinning), yarn-dyeing (after spinning, before knitting), or garment-dyeing (after the garment is completed). Generally, the earlier the dyeing in the process, the better the final quality. At Cashmerefine, we primarily use top-dyeing to enhance the fiber’s natural characteristics. However, for specific client requests, we can also perform yarn-dyeing, ensuring flexibility and the highest quality results tailored to each project.

Cahsmerefine’s spinning process transforms meticulously selected raw fibers into soft, durable yarns, combining advanced technology with artisanal expertise.

This allows us to produce both woolen and worsted yarns in any count and composition required by our clients, ensuring flexibility, exceptional quality, and consistency in every product.

Knitting is the moment where yarns are transformed into knit panels.
At Cashmerefine, this is achieved with state-of-the-art machines from the world’s most prestigious brands, combined with the expert touch of our craftsmen.

Our advanced technologies allow us to produce knitwear in every gauge (from 3gg to 18gg) and in any stitch or pattern, unlocking exceptional versatility and delivering unmatched quality in every piece.

The linking phase is where all knit panels are assembled with precision to define the final fit of the garment. This step is crucial and requires both state-of-the-art machinery and refined craftsmanship. In recent years, seamless knitwear has grown in popularity due to lower production costs. However, it is widely recognized that seamless construction often compromises the garment’s fit and overall structure. At Cashmerefine, linking is performed in our own facilities in Italy, China, and Tunisia. Every garment is fully fashioned and point-to-point linked, ensuring perfectly aligned stitches and an impeccable, high-end finish.

Finishing is the stage where garments truly come to life through final washing and ironing.

At Cashmerefine, we use carefully calibrated water, specialized detergents and softeners, and machinery tailored to each specific fiber, enhancing both the quality and the appearance of every piece. This final stage reflects our meticulous attention to detail and our commitment to creating premium knitwear of the highest standard.

Quality control is the stage where every necessary check is performed to ensure that the final product meets the client’s expectations.
As a fully vertical company, Cashmerefine carries out quality controls at every step of the process. The most critical checks involve verifying measurements, hand feel, and overall workmanship, all inspected manually by our specialized teams.
Based on client requirements, we can perform additional controls and follow specific procedures. Clients also have the option to conduct their own quality checks in dedicated areas within our facilities.

Once each garment is completed, it enters the final stages of personalization, which include trims application, packaging, and shipment to its final destination.
At Cashmerefine, trims may be provided directly by the client, sourced from their selected suppliers, or produced in-house – always in full respect of each brand’s identity, standards, and guidelines.
Every piece is then packed exactly as specified and shipped according to the agreed terms, with Cashmerefine able to manage any required shipping condition (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, DAP, and more).
