INTRODUCTION TO MATERIALS
The choice of the best raw materials lies at the heart of our production process. Cashmerefine selects only the finest natural fibers, each sourced from the region where it reaches its highest quality — shaped by unique local traditions and exceptional natural conditions. Every selection reflects our unmatched expertise and the trusted relationships with producers cultivated over more than half a century.

CASHMERE
All cashmere traded by Cashmerefine and used in our knitwear productions comes from the Gobi Desert, the world’s most renowned region for this precious fiber. The extreme climate and unique vegetation that nourish the herds produce coats of exceptional fineness, softness, and warmth.
We carefully select only the finest fibers, according to strict standards of length, fineness, and purity, and transform them into garments of the highest quality and craftsmanship.
WOOL
All our wool is sourced from Australia, renowned worldwide for its quality, scale, and sustainable practices. The country’s unique environment and the long-standing expertise of local farmers produce wool that is exceptionally soft, resilient, and versatile.
Cashmerefine uses Australian wool for luxurious blends with cashmere and other fibers, as well as for crafting 100% Merino yarns and knitwear in a broad range of counts and gauges, ensuring both elegance and performance.

SILK
The use of silk fibers in textile production has ancient origins, dating back to 3000 BC in China. Today, silk is one of the most widely used natural fibres in luxury apparel.
At Cashmerefine, thanks to our consolidated sourcing network, we select only the highest-quality silk, which we use mainly in blends with cashmere, wool, and cotton for both woolen and worsted yarns. Silk’s thermoregulating properties in fact make it ideal for use in both summer and winter garments.
COTTON
Cotton is known for its softness and breathability, qualities that make it ideal for everyday wear.
Cashmerefine sources its cotton from different regions around the world, choosing each origin according to the specific fiber characteristics required. Through careful selection and expert craftsmanship, we obtain fabrics that are both durable and gentle on the skin.
We often use cotton in blends with other natural fibers such as cashmere, silk or linen to create garments that combine functionality and comfort while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

LINEN
Linen is one of the most ancient fibers used in textile production, with origins dating back to prehistoric times in the Caucasus region. Over the millennia, linen has been cultivated across many continents, and today its main areas of excellence are Northern Europe, known for specific high-quality varieties, and China for large-scale production.
In recent years, linen has grown increasingly popular in knitwear thanks to its breathability, freshness, and thermoregulating properties. At Cashmerefine, we apply the same care and expertise to linen as we do to all our natural fibers. Selected for its fineness, natural color purity, and soft touch, our linen is ideal for lightweight, breathable, and durable garments. Using traditional techniques, it retains its authentic character, transforming into creations that combine elegance with comfort.
